Since we were established in 2003, we’ve developed extensive experience across the technology sector, and in engineering, health, and professional services. Of course, we make sure our team stays up to date with changing legislation and case law. Tiffany’s commitment to building great business relationships through contracting stems from her experience in engineering, project management and sales.
Since 2003, Devant’s clients have appreciated her ability to get to the heart of commercial issues, negotiating workable deals with grace and authority. A popular business speaker, she uses stories and analogies to bring the world of commercial contracts to life.
Janine joined Devant in 2007 following a successful consultancy and project management career in the City and a break to raise her family.
Janine’s breadth of experience enables her to support our many different clients, ensuring they have robust, effective contracts in place to help them achieve their business requirements and objectives. From simple NDAs through to complex company transactions, her knowledge and attention to detail makes her an important and valued member of the Devant team.
Catherine’s expertise is in company acquisitions & disposals, management buyouts, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and commercial tie-ups generally, with a particular focus on owner-managed businesses. Catherine started her career as an M&A lawyer in the City before leaving the City when her children were small to work for two big regional law firms. She joined Devant’s team in 2019.
Kelly brings Devant’s clients her 20+ years of experience in the global technology and telecommunications sector as senior in-house legal counsel and trusted business advisor. She has structured and negotiated deals from both the sales and procurement side, delivering improved profitability, bottom line savings and efficiencies.
Youth counselling and coaching are among Kelly’s passions outside of the office. She has not-for-profit leadership experience through her voluntary work as Chair of the Trustee Board of a youth counselling charity.
Richard brings a rare combination of technical and legal expertise to support Devant’s clients. He has excellent problem solving skills, and has blazed many contractual trails to deliver pragmatic, value-generating solutions to difficult commercial problems. These included complex PFI contracts, multi-national negotiations and commercial process improvement.
Roberta is a bilingual lawyer with significant experience in EU and UK law. Since 2014 she has helped foreign entrepreneurs expand their businesses in the UK by assisting in the internationalisation process and CoSec work.
Before joining Devant as Principal Commercial Consultant, M&A and CoSec, she worked at two prestigious law firms in Chancery Lane, the heart of legal London.
A recent addition to the team, Wayne brings a wealth of experience to the role of Principal Consultant to support Devant and its clients. Wayne has previously worked in private practice and most recently as an in-house commercial lawyer for an IT company. Prior to working in the legal sector, Wayne held a variety of roles including working as a personal bank manager for a high street bank and as an advisor to National Lottery jackpot winners. This varied background ensures that Wayne always offers commercially sound, practical contract advice.
Emma joined Devant having gained broad experience across multiple in-house legal teams within the entertainment sector including the video gaming, e-sports and live music event industries.
Having worked on numerous commercial matters including sponsorship, intellectual property, and privacy/GDPR, Emma has had exposure to a wide variety of commercial contracts and brings with her confidence and commitment to supporting Devant’s clients.
Sahrash has a range of experience within commercial, corporate, data protection and privacy across multiple in-house teams. She has experience of asset management, M2M and IoT, telecommunications, manufacturing and distribution in Europe, Middle East and Asia. Sahrash specialises in contract drafting and negotiation as well as taking the lead on data, privacy and security related matters.
Sahrash graduated in LLB Law obtaining a 2:1 before completing her Legal Practice Course in 2018 with a Distinction.
Suzanne manages and develops the business’s internal processes during this time of growth. Suzanne is an experienced Office Manager in the legal sector, giving her a good understanding of our clients’ needs and the skills to provide effective administrative support to our team so they can deliver efficient and quality customer service.
Also as a point of contact for new and existing clients, Suzanne is looking forward to greeting you with enthusiasm and cheer!
Thomas is Devant’s long standing financial controller. He takes care of the financial and accounts side of things here. Always courteous and friendly,
Thomas will be able to help you with any invoice queries that might arise. Thomas also supports the board with financial modelling, forecasting and reporting.

Whilst completing her postgraduate work following her degree, Jess gained invaluable skills in the dissemination and organisation of information and knowledge. She’s now joined our team to improve the organisation of Devant’s prodigious knowledge and information database to benefit our clients, existing and new.
