Devant are jumping for joy!
The team at Devant had good reason to leap for joy, with the support from our clients we raised £1,662 in our Leap Year Charity Auction for Launchpad, Reading’s homeless support charity.
I wanted to publicly thank everyone who took part in the auction or as a result made a personal donation to Launchpad. A special and big ‘thank you’ has to go to our bid winners….
MMRG successfully bid for Janine and I. Janine conducted a legal contract audit whilst I was with the team providing one of our popular workshops in-house – Contract Law for Non-Lawyers.
Bruce spent 29th February providing consultancy with the team at WATB including a review of their terms and conditions.
Evolve Computers have recently launched a new website and bid for Marion and Sian to conduct a contract audit.
Thank you so much for helping us make a difference to homeless people in Reading.

“The incredible sum of money that Devant raised by their staff volunteering their day on February 29th in return for a donation to Launchpad will be able to support existing and new projects, managed by our volunteering team to help in key areas of Launchpad such as:

Floating Support
There’s a volunteering opportunity for almost anyone at Launchpad. Our volunteers come with a broad range of skills, from gardeners, empathetic counsellors to IT experts and enthusiastic retired teachers for book-keeping, numeracy and literacy classes. Our volunteers play a key role in delivering vital support and services, making an enormous difference to the lives of vulnerable people in Reading.
It is an amazing sum and we would like to say “thank you” on behalf of our staff, volunteers and, of course, our clients for being supported in such a generous and unique way.”
