As 2020 draws to a close, the Devant team wishes you and yours a very happy festive season, and all the very best for 2021!
For the first time ever, we’re not sending out paper Christmas cards. Instead, we’re supporting two local charities that are very dear to our hearts.
Launchpad is a Reading homelessness prevention charity which works to help those who are, or are at risk of becoming, homeless, to get back on their feet.
Young People’s Independent (YPI) Counselling is a locally run charity providing counselling, emotional support and mentoring to young people with, or at risk of, mental health issues.
Devant has supported Launchpad for many years, and is delighted to add YPI Counselling, of which our Principal Consultant Kelly Lincoln is a volunteer trustee, to Devant’s extended family.
If you’re able to donate to either of these excellent causes, we know they’d appreciate it very much 🙂
Holiday hours and planning for next year
Many of the Devant team will be taking an extended break to recharge their batteries so we can serve you with energy and enthusiasm in 2021. This does mean we’ll have limited availability over the next few weeks, but I will be personally on hand to support you with any contractual emergencies, ably supported by Kelly, Emma and Suzanne. If you’re an Inner Circle member, you can continue to book Inner Circle calls over the festive period through your Inner Circle member area.
Apart from Inner Circle calls, the Devant office will be closed from 5pm on Wednesday 23rd December, and will re-open on Monday 4th January 2021.
If you’re concerned about your Brexit-readiness (especially with regard to processing personal data from EU citizens), and would like some help from our team to get you ready to go, please call for a chat. We’re already supporting a number of clients in their GDPR updates for 2021, and would be happy to schedule you in for January.
We’re also looking forward to some great commercial strategy sessions with clients who are taking a serious look at how to manage risk and maximise opportunity in 2021.
